Lonely Planet have named seven Irish hikes among the best in Europe in a new book about “the best walking adventures on the continent.”
Epic Hikes of Europe will be Lonely Planet’s ode to the best walking routes on the continent and given that Ireland is a veritable hiker’s paradise, it’s no surprise that seven of ours have been included.
The book includes some famous routes from the Iberian Peninsula to the Arctic Circle and without giving away too many spoilers, you can see which Irish hikes have been included below. With inter-county travel now back open, it will serve as the perfect bucket list for summer 202!
