The Average Maximum Length Of Sex Is Much Longer Than Most Of Your Favourite Netflix Shows

As Salt-N-Pepa once said, let’s talk about sex.

It’s never too early in the morning or late in the day to address the question about how long the average sex session should last.

Of course, the answer could vary from couple to couple and whatever they are happiest with.

But scientist aren’t happy with guesstimates, they want cold hard facts backed up by a studies.

So, that’s what they did.

According to news.com.au, one of the problems that they had when conducting this study was the bias of people to push the time estimates up.

But as best they could, they carried on and surveyed 500 couples from around the world.

They timed themselves having sex over a four-week period using a stopwatch and the results were astounding to say the least.

There was a massive variation across the board. Couples could last as little as 30 seconds or as long as fecking 44 minutes.

The average session, they found, lasts a little over 5 minutes.
