The Irish “summer” follows a pretty vicious circle that somehow, every year, we all forget about. 

We get so buzzed up about those glorious sun rays that we abandon all common sense and run to the nearest beach, our pale skin aglow in the bright light, not a care in the world. 

Sunburn, ice cream, pints, repeat.

And then – without warning – the weather goes back to being pure shite again and everyone acts surprised that we live in a rainy country. 

The gas Twisted Doodles has drawn a fantastic cartoon illustrating summer in Ireland in all its realness.
