When it comes to house hunting, it can be difficult to find the perfect home at a good price… Like, really difficult.
This is one little trick though, that could help you save some extra cash when tackling the property ladder.
Daft.ie published the interesting news that shows if you buy a house that happens to be ‘number 13’ you could save yourself close to €4,500.
There is a lot of superstition around ‘Friday the 13th’ and many consider it to be the unluckiest day of the year.
The property website valued houses at number 13 and found that they are up to €4,335 cheaper than the average property home in Ireland.
We crunched the numbers on over 1 million property listings & 13 has its benefits ????

The research also found that since the start of the property price register in 2010, there are 10% less transactions on ‘Friday the 13th’ than regular Fridays, which would usually be the busiest day of the week.
It goes to show you that us Irish are pretty superstitious.

Would a ‘number 13’ house put you off buying it?
