Trademarked in Dublin 1876. Tagged in Chicago 2023.
After years and years of Americans coming in droves to visit the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin 8, they are getting their very own based in Chicago, Illinois.
They first announced the brewery’s impending arrival in March, with the intention of opening during the summer, finally launching at the end of September.
This official new Home of Guinness will feature a number of beer releases, food-focused experiences, and events throughout the year, not unlike the Dublin location.
You can expect to see Dublin-brewed classics like Guinness Draught Stout, Guinness Extra Stout, and Foreign Extra Stout, alongside new and creative recipes from the on-site brewers. These Chicago-born beers will be from across the spectrum of the beer world – crisp lagers, tropical IPAs, classic European styles, fruit and cocktail inspired beers, and everything in between.
As this brewery is based in America, visitors will need to be over 21 to enter.
