5 Insanely Fancy Irish Pads You Can Rent On Airbnb In Ireland

The way we travel is rapidly changing thanks to Airbnb, but while many of us use it when going abroad, we might forget it’s also brilliant when staying in Ireland as well. 

Although some of these nightly rates look insanely expensive, you have to factor in the fact that you could bring up to 12 friends to some of them and split the cost. 

These could make for an incredible long weekend away…

1. Kerry Manor House 

A beautiful house in the middle of Kerry that sleeps up to 16 people. It was built in 1641, has 10 bedrooms and we reckon you could throw one hell of a party here.

2. Knappogue Castle

For a very reasonable €1,500 odd a night you can stay in this wonderful castle which dates back to the 1700s. Located close to Ennis, the area boasts some gorgeous gardens and views.

3. Dalkey Mansion 

In Sorrento Bay, this house is like something out of a movie. Doesn’t come cheap, but with five bedrooms that sleep 10 people, you can split the cost and make the most of the swimming pool and bar area. 

4. Private Luxury Island 

This really would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you’ll definitely need some friends with a price tag of €3,000 a night. It’s Inishturk Beg in Mayo and the good news is it sleeps 16 (bringing the cost down to just under €190 per person), and has an infinity pool, gym and hot tub.

5. Lismacue House

A truly gorgeous property in the heart of Tipperary that sleeps up to 10 people and would be the perfect location for a business retreat or a classy hen party. The house has been in the family since 1700 and there are 200 acres for you to get lost in and relax.
