The little town of Glaslough in Co Monaghan has only gone and won the double whammy. Not only has it been named as Ireland’s tidiest town, but it is also Ireland’s tidiest village as well.
Competing against a record number of entrants this year, Glaslough beat over 900 other entrants to come out on top.

The awards, now over 60 years old, encourage civic participation and for locals to take pride in their hometowns.
Fair play to all involved.
