There’s A New Dating App On The Market With The Almightiest Of Additions

Darragh Berry

The dating scene has changed so much since the introduction of the likes of Tinder, Bumble and other dating apps which are there to help you find love.

However, it’s not always roses while using these dating apps and more often than not, you have to endure some horrible and boring dates.

When you have to judge what a person is like based off their pictures and their bio, it’s easy to rush into a decision about someone as you’re taking things at face value.

However, what if there was a way to find out a little bit more about that person, not from them but from people who have gone on a date with them from the site?

Well, according to The Independent, Do I Date, makes it possible for people to leave reviews of their dates in a TripAdvisor meets Tinder sort of fashion.

The app’s website says Do I Date exists:

“… to manage your expectations of an upcoming dating experience, providing safety, fun and much needed insight into a potential match, helping to minimise the (sad emoji) & guaranteeing more (laughing emoji).”

Ratings are out of five and you can also give honest feedback in a comment section beneath the ratings like so…

We hope that you don’t come across any married people though…

Although the reviews are strictly confidential, by searching the app’s database, (and trying to link 2+2 together based on what the person has told you so far) you can try and figure out whether the person you’re about to meet has already been reviewed by someone else.

It has the potential to be fantastic and work really well but it’s also going to make that first date all the more stressful now because in the back of your mind you’ll be thinking, “I wonder have I been reviewed on the site and if they have read it”.

What do you think of your dates being reviewed? Let us know in the comments.
