Let us first start off with the well-known fact that the Lidl Ireland page is the best Twitter profile in Ireland.
They’re sassy, on-the-ball and whoever is on their social media team should get a raise.
In the past they’ve tweeted gems such as this:
A lot of you have tweeted us about Bono appearing in our leaflet but no one seems to have spotted The Edge advertising our Men’s clothes…? pic.twitter.com/YBjCiyPN26
— Lidl Ireland (@lidl_ireland) April 24, 2017
This:
It’s 5000 volts actually

And this:
Your face is a game changer.

But today’s establishment of ‘What Lidl Tweeted Next’ is definitely the best we’ve seen yet.
Twitter user and unassuming Lidl shopper Stephanie Manos brought this to our attention, and we’ve been laughing ever since.
Stephanie, upon purchasing a pork fillet from the German superstore, tweeted them upon realising its phallic likeness…
The label said Pork Fillet…. looks more like sausage to me @lidl_ireland. #irishmeat #pork #premiumquality #dublin #lovindublin #meat pic.twitter.com/Fs4y0iNA0P

To which Lidl replied:
Doesn’t look big enough to be ours…
— Lidl Ireland (@lidl_ireland) April 26, 2017
*mic drop*
Can you cope? Because we CAN’T COPE.
Take a bow Lidl, take a big bloody bow.
