The Irish Blood Transfusion Service needs your help right now.
The organisation has revealed that their supply of blood type O+ is worryingly low at the moment and they’re calling out for support from the public.
O+ is the most common of blood types and just one donation can help the recovery of up to three patients in hospital.
Remember, one in four of us will require a blood donation at least once in our lives. For this blood transfusion service to run, at least 3,000 donors are required per week.
Are you an O+ Blood donor? Do you know anyone who’d be willing to donate to this cause? Let us know in the comments.
