The most popular pubs in Ireland with fireplaces have just been revealed by a new poll.

Compiled by Bord na Móna for their Pubs with Hearth series, the fuel provider is asking the public to vote for the cosiest pub in the country so it can host the Hearth Sessions, a live music event featuring Róisín O and Brave Giant. 

Here are Bord na Móna’s top 10 Pubs with Hearth, in no specific order:

1. The Harbour Bar, Bray

2. The Strand Bar, Sligo

3. The Oval Bar, Cork

4. Sean’s Bar, Athlone

5. Kellys Bar, Birr

6. Silken Thomas, Kildare Town

7. The Merry Ploughboy Irish Music Pub, Dublin
