Tipping in Ireland is always a somewhat controversial subject.
To tip or not to tip – that is the question.
And The Indian Tree in Portadown, Armagh hit the absolute tipping jackpot when a family of five left a £1,000 tip on a £79.05 bill.
Luna Ekush, owner of The Indian Tree, told the Belfast Telegraph: "We are very much still in shock. If someone gives us a couple of pounds we are happy enough – but this is just a massive one."
