Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was killed in Limerick last night.
The man, who is aged 40, was struck by a car on Kileely Road in the Thomandgate area of Limerick at around 11.35pm on Sunday.
He was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car, aged in his 20s, was uninjured.
