A Survey Has Revealed What Irish Lotto Winners Spend Their Riches On

We’ve all speculated at one time or another about what we’d spend our winnings on if we were jammy enough to win the lotto. 

Now, the people who have done just that have been quizzed on what they were planning on spending their windfalls on. 

Surprisingly, a survey of Lotto winners who won at least €100,000 revealed that only 5% were planning on giving up their jobs. 

According to the Irish Independent, 40% of people said they would purchase a house with their winnings and we reckon we’d be the same. 

For those opting not to move house, a walk-in wardrobe topped the list of extravagant features they would add to their home, followed by a hot tub and electric gates. 

32% of those buying a car said they would opt for a Ferrari with a Mercedes and an Audi being next on the wishlist. 

Finally, answering a rather bizarre question, 30% said they would hire Garth Brooks to perform at a party ahead of U2 and Daniel O’Donnell. 

All this has given us a taste for riches so we’re off to buy a ticket for this weekend’s €7m Lotto jackpot. Who’s with us?
