If you haven’t already, you have to check out the first series of After Life.
It is definitely one of the best releases this year, while being hilarious in the way that Ricky Gervais knows best and also quite sad.
It’s the heartfelt comedy we didn’t know we needed.

It has been getting a huge amount of praise and Gervais has been thanking everybody on Twitter.
This morning, while it looked like he was tweeting just another thank you message, he added a final line announcing that he is now writing series two.
