Ant and Dec Are Finally Reuniting

After some time away, Ant McPartlin will return to his hosting duties in early 2019 and the much-loved tv duo will once again be reunited – yay!

Ant and Dec have worked as co-hosts for ITV since 2001, with the pair previously making an on-air pledge that they would never work solo.

However, back in March representatives for Ant confirmed that he would be taking time off “for the foreseeable future” to receive treatment for a drink and drug dependency.

During this break, the Geordie host missed I’m A Celeb for the first time ever and it was very much a bittersweet time. We all missed Dec’s trusty side-kick, but credit where credit’s due, Holly Willoughly stepped up and absolutely smashed it. Girl boss.

With the jungle closed up for another year, Holly confirmed that she won’t be jetting off to Oz next year and described it as “a one-off, once in a lifetime adventure.”

In light of his return, there have been mixed reactions all over the Twitter-sphere but it’s great to see him on the mend and in a better place.

Next year will see Ant return to Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celeb, while Saturday Night Takeaway will be rested until 2020.
