Boris Johnson has announced to the public that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
Prime Minister of Britain, Boris Johnson this morning confirmed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Revealing that he has developed a temperature and a persistent cough, Johnson took a test on the advice of the chief medical officer.
Posting to Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote:
“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this.”

Johnson can be heard thanking the “amazing NHS staff” as well as every member of the British public who has volunteered to protect people against the consequences of the coronavirus.
