British Woman Allegedly Raped By Irish Tourist In Portugal

Portuguese Media are reporting that a national criminal investigation is currently underway after the alleged rape of a British tourist by an Irish tourist.

The English woman is in her 30s and states that the incident happened in a hotel room where the Irishman was staying in Portimão, Portugal.

The pair met in a bar on Friday night and they both returned to the Irishman’s hotel room where the alleged incident took place.

The Irishman was staying with someone and when that person returned, they saw the woman emerge from the room in tears.

She started to knock on other doors in the hotel and told people that she was forced to have sex against her will.

The Irishman, however, states that it was consensual.
