Conor McGregor Confirms Horrible Injury Ahead Of UFC 229 Fight

It’s only a matter of days now before Conor McGregor enters the octagon to face Khabib Nurmagomedov in UFC 229.

And he’s only gone and got himself a horrible injury.

While sparring at training, McGregor managed to get his opponents tooth lodged in his finger.

Absolutely sick.

“Only the strong survive around this game. I was sparring a 90 kilo fighter, Ion Pascu, he’s a great solid fighter. They call him ‘The Bomber’. Like me, I sometimes spar without a gumshield,” McGregor told Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.

“I was sparring this guy, ‘The Bomber’, and I smacked him with a clean shot and his tooth embedded into my knuckle.

“But, yeah, your man’s tooth was embedded into my knuckle and that was it. Welcome to the fight game. The real fight game.”

The Bomber is now missing a tooth.

The fighter who is known as ‘Ion Pascu’, posted this photo on Instagram and swore to get revenge on McGregor:

“Everybody is asking me what happened when Conor McGregor hit my teeth. His finger is ok but what about me hahaha i need to get revenge.”
