Everyone Online Is Saying The Same Thing About Storm Ali

Storm Ali has landed in Ireland, bringing with it levels of destruction we haven’t seen since… well, Ophelia last October.

At least that’s what a lot of people online are saying. A popular opinion seems to be that Ali is in fact stronger than Ophelia, a storm during which we were all advised to stay home from work.

One Twitter user came up with quite an interesting theory involving the Ploughing Championships….

Conspiracy theory – This storm is worse than Ophelia, but the government refuse to call red weather warning due to the #Ploughing and the loss of revenue for the country is it was cancelled. Stay woke sheeple. #StormAli

While others, particularly in Dublin, agree that Ali is way worse than Ophelia…

I was literally walking on the spot outside a few mins ago trying gather up my patio furniture and to prevent future carnage of the patio furniture kind. Ophelia is only trailing behind Ali if you ask me. She wouldn’t lace her boots!
