10 Makeup Tutorials For An Extra Glam Look This Christmas

Sarah

T’is the season of work parties, dinners with old friends and bumping into your ex-boyfriend at the local. So it makes sense that you kindaaaa want to look your best for any/all of these scenarios.

Christmas time is the perfect chance to try a new dramatic look and amp up the sparkle factor – you can go all out with red lips and dark eyes and no-one will bat a fake-eyelash.

But what if you’re not exactly a professional MUA (‘make up artist’ dont’cha know)? That is where makeup tutorials come in!

Here’s some of our favourite mega-glam and thankfully pretty easy make up looks for the festive season.

1. Red and green Christmas look – ThatGirlShaeXo

This is a fab sparkly look that uses festive jewel colours and lots of glitter to make a statement. Great for those galpal nights out.

2. Gold smokey eyes & classic red lips – NikkieTutorials

This is a more dramatic take on a classic look, using pretty golds and a matte red lip for a look that would be perfect for Christmas day.

3. Christmas glam – Naomi Jonzeck

This is a more sultry look using berry shades and lotsa lashes – a must-do for Christmas eve pints.

4. Bronze smokey eye – Sharon Farrell

This one is brilliant for pale skin girls, and the subtle bronze shadow is another winner for the big day.

5. Festive Christmas glam – Amy Macedo

Just loooook at that silver liner – a showstopper makeup look that screams party.

6. Everyday winter makeup – Zoella

Not into wearing a full face of slap? Then this is a nice one for you natural beauts out there.

7. Red glittery Christmas look – GlitterGirlC

There’s not many times you have an excuse to wear red glitter on your lids, so make the most of it this year and go all out.

8. Gold glitter cut crease – Amys Makeup Box

Just in case you had any doubts about what way to do your makeup on New Years Eve, this gold bonanza will help you out.

9. Festive forest green eyes – Leyla Rose

This is something a bit different but looks so amazing on darker eyes.

10. Big eyes and red ombre lips – Laura Leth

This shows you how to do the puurfect cat liner and fancy-schmancy ombre lips – not as hard as it looks.
