Ireland is looking at temperatures of 25 degrees next week

James Fenton

It looks like this recent spell of good weather is not only set to continue but it’s going to improve significantly as well.

We were blessed with temperatures of around 2o degrees over the weekend but that’s nothing compared to how high the mercury will rise next week.

Speaking to JOE.ie, Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather said: “It looks like next week the temperatures will steadily increase and we could be into well above 20 degrees by later next week. Maybe 23, 24 degrees, possibly even reaching 25 degrees later next week.”

Met Éireann are equally optimistic with the caveat of a few rain showers in the mix as well. They say that ‘current indications suggest that there will be some rain and showers at times next week but a good deal of dry weather too. Temperatures are expected to increase through the week, reaching high teens or low twenties.’

We’ll take a bit of that. A full outlook for the next week can be found here.
