Ireland Now Has More Multi- Millionaires Than Dubai – Yep, Really

Ireland gained 85 new ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals (a multi-millionaire to you and I), in 2016, ranking Ireland in 24th place in the Wealth X report 2017 which measures the global ultra wealthy population and their total wealth.

The Irish Times reports that Ireland now ranks higher than Belgium, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

The United States had the largest UHNW population in 2016, with over 73,000 people holding over $8.7 billion, while Japan, China, Germany, and the UK took the remaining top five spots.
