Temperatures To Fall To Zero Degrees This Week As Severe Weather Change Comes Our Way

Darragh Berry

So we’re heading into winter head first this year as temperatures are set to drop seriously low this week.

Met Eireann has stated that the whole of Ireland will experience zero degrees temperatures as we are set to be hit with a cold blast which will feature some spells of hail.

Lovely.

Here’s how next week is going to play out:

Sunday:

Temperatures of 10-13 degrees but the night will turn really cold and drop as low as 1-5 degrees.

Some frost and patchy mist will develop and cloud will increase in eastern areas around dawn.

Monday:

Isolated showers developing in some areas with good sunny period in most. Temps of 2-5 degrees in the night time.

Tuesday:

Bright spells with showers mostly in the west. Lows of 3 to 5 Celsius.

Wednesday:

Showers will occur during the day with longer spells of rain likely for the east and northeast of the country, some of the showers possibly of hail.

Northeast breezes will be mostly moderate in strength but fresh to strong along coasts. Cold overnight with frost as temperatures dip between 0 to 3 Celsius.

Wrap up well, folks.
