Humidity and thunder is the order of the day in Ireland today.
That’s according to Met Eireann who are forecasting that it will be:
“Very mild and humid today. Good dry periods this morning with some sunny spells but showers in places also. More widespread showery rain this afternoon with some thundery bursts, especially in western areas, drier periods in eastern areas. Some hill and coastal fog also. Top temperatures 12 to 16 or 17 degrees Celsius. Southerly winds will remain moderate, occasionally fresh.”
Mix of cloud & some sunny spells. Rain or showers about, some heavy & possibly thundery, especially later. Hill & coastal fog. Highs 12to17C

The thundery rain is set to continue into tonight and may lead to some flooding around the country.
Not good news. Let’s hope we get at least some sunshine for the weekend.
