Man Confirmed Dead After Road Incident At Wexford School

Gardai in Wexford are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Whitemill Road at approximately 12:30am on Thursday morning. 

A male in his 20s was fatally injured when the car he was driving lost control and collided with a barrier. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Wexford Hospital. Two male passengers were also taken to Wexford Hospital with injuries described as serious.

This stretch of road is currently closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.

The Irish Mirror is reporting that the incident took place outside a National School in the town.
