Johnnie Fox’s pub is one of the many iconic landmarks around the world turning green for St. Patrick’s Day.
The highest pub in Ireland was voted the best pub in Leinster at The Bar of the Year awards last August, and has been enjoying massive success among locals and tourists alike.
In fact, 75% of business at the Dublin mountains hideout comes from Irish people with profits trebling in 2018.
Business manager Kaitlin McMahon told the Irish Times: “Business last year was very strong and we are hoping for an even better year in 2019.”
Other Dublin buildings turning green this year include Aras an Uachtarain, 3 Arena and Dublin Castle.
