Irish folk are fairly good at the oul creative thinking we have to say, but the latest artwork to come from the countryside is really something else.

People from Drumshanbo, Leitrim, are hosting a 'Stylish Silage' competition as part of local An Tóstal festival, an annual event that celebrates Irish life and culture.

Those who took up the fun challenge of decorating a hay bale have a chance to win some cash dollahs: the overall winner will be presented with €300; the runner-up will receive €200; and the third prize is €100.

And just LOOK at some of the entries...

The talented winner will be announced on July 2nd, which design do you think should scoop top prize?
