PICS: This Wexford Seal Sanctuary Is The Cutest Thing You’ll See All Day

Sarah

Are you in need of your daily dose of adorableness? We reckoned so.

We recently came across the amazing organisation that is Seal Rescue Ireland, a seal rescue centre for the entire coast of Ireland who annually rescue seals from Sligo, Clare, Kerry, Galway, Donegal, Dublin, Wexford, Waterford, Louth, Meath, Mayo, Wicklow, Leitrim.

They also rescue Otters and other wildlife in need ‘cos they’re sound like that.

Orphaned, sick and injured Common and Grey seal pups are rescued by the centre’s volunteers and brought in for medical treatment and some TLC before ultimately being released back into the wild.

The pups are taught how to feed themselves and play with other seals in rocky pools with minimal human contact in their last few weeks in the centre so that they can readjust to their natural habitat.

Look how insanely cute these guys are:

The rescue centre, which is based in Wexford, regularly do public events when they release the seals and they look so amazing.

You can see when their next ones will be here if you want to go along and see something really spectacular.

We can’t deal with the cuteness of this, we really can’t.
