It's been an incredibly busy morning for Gardaí in the capital as the slippery road conditions are leading to multiple collisions.

In Dublin, there have been incidents including a flalen tree in Sandyford and a collision on the Templeogue Road inbound.

Also, there has been a crash on the M50 northbound between Blanchardstown and Finglas. Further incidents have occurred at Tom Clarke Bridge, the Lucan Road and the Clontarf Road.

In Cork, there has been a collision on the Wilton Road at Dennehy's Cross while in Kildare Gardaí are dealing with an incident on the N7 northbound at Johnstown.
