Nearly 200 Ryanair Flights For Later This Week Have Been Cancelled

James Fenton

Ryanair has cancelled 190 flights which were due to operate on Friday of this week, Newstalk reports. The decision is due to a strike by cabin crew members in Spain, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Italy and Germany.

In a statement, the company said that ‘8% of its 2,400 scheduled flights on Fri 28th due to a unnecessary strike by a tiny minority of cabin crew.’ It added that it ‘sincerely regrets these unnecessary customer disruptions, which have been called by unions at the behest of competitor airline employees’.
