Ryanair Heavily Criticised For Not Doing This On Diverted ‘Storm Ali’ Flight To Dublin Airport

Darragh Berry

Storm Ali is starting to fade away but Bronagh is arriving and is due to kick up a storm over the weekend in Ireland.

Storm Ali caused absolute havoc for airlines and brought with it a number of delays and cancellations.

One of those flights that was delayed was a Ryanair one that was heading for Dublin Airport.

It was unable to land because of the weather and had to be diverted to Liverpool.

Passengers are claiming that they were left sitting on the plane for hours without food or water after the ordeal.

One wrote: “Absolutely shocked at your disgusting treatment of your passengers.

“Flight diverted from Dublin to Liverpool, now sat on the plane on the runway in Liverpool not being allowed off or told what’s going on.

“You’re not providing any water without charging people despite the fact there are children, pregnant women and elderly people on board.

“Absolutely disgraceful.”

Passengers were allegedly left on the plane from 1:30pm until around 5pm when they were eventually let off and giving bottles of water.

Another passenger told the Liverpool Echo that:

“We’ve been on the tarmac since 1.30pm. {people are yelling about food and water.

“We missed our connection to the States. It cost about €2,000 to reschedule.

“The bathrooms are a real horror show. I’d say it’s been a little harrowing.”

Lovin Media Group has reached out to Ryanair for a comment.
