Due to reopen later this month, Tayto Park has made another big announcement – this morning revealing that they’ll add two new attractions to the park next year.
One of the country’s most popular tourist attractions, Tayto Park is as big a hit with adults as it is kids. Ireland’s only theme park, it’s home to several different attractions including an extreme climbing wall, different animal enclosures, a playground and a vortex tunnel.
Revealing that plans have been approved for two more rollercoasters, the team confirmed that work will begin on the new attractions next year – predicting they’ll be ready by 2023. Sharing the exciting news on Twitter, management wrote:
“We are delighted to announce the approval of two new steel intertwining rollercoasters which will begin construction in 2021 to open to the public in 2023.
The rollercoasters, which represent a total investment of €15million by the park, will create 40 new jobs in the area.”
