A recent trend that has taken Ireland by storm in the pampering world is being offered a little prosecco or gin and tonic in the salon.

Heading to the barbers? You’ll more than likely be sipping on beer or whiskey as you settle down to get your stylish fade.

Campaigners for reducing Ireland’s alcohol consumption are also pointing the finger at bottomless brunches for normalising excessive drinking in the country.
