Great news for anyone who missed out on January’s ‘super blood wolf moon’ thanks to cloudy skies, because you’ll be able to see the biggest and brightest moon of the year this week.
On Tuesday, skygazers will be treated to a ‘super snow moon’, so-called because February traditionally sees the most snow of the year.
This full moon will be brighter than any other in 2019 because its orbit will be at its closest point to earth.

The ‘super snow moon’ will reach its closest point at 9.06am on Tuesday, though it will be at its fullest and brightest at 3.53pm.
You should actually be able to see it from 5.11pm that evening so here’s hoping for clear skies.
If you do miss out on spotting it this time around, you won’t have to wait too long to see the next supermoon on March 21, known as the ‘full worm moon’.
