Skerries has won the national award for tidiest town, and from what we’ve seen it was well-deserved. The town will receive €10,000 in prize money.
Birdhill, Co. Tipperary won tidiest village, while Ennis, Co. Clare won tidiest large urban centre and Listowel, Co. Kerry won tidiest small town!
The gum litter task force award was given to Co. Wexford and the diversity award was taken by Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
Fair play to all involved in keeping Ireland’s towns as tidy and as beautiful as they are.
