Last Friday’s Euromillion’s Plus draw was won by two Irish players, who each walked away with a handy €500,000 each.

And now the National Lottery has taken to Twitter to reveal the shops in which the winning tickets were bought.

They wrote: “Last nights EuroMillions Top Plus prize winning shops that sold the tickets were Clarke’s SuperValu in Barna village Centre Co.Galway and Garryduff Stores, pound road in Castlebar, Co.Mayo! Congrats to the lucky winners of the €500,000 prizes.”

A shop assistant from Garryduff Stores in Mayo said: “We’re delighted we sold the €500,000 ticket in the Garryduff Stores in Castlebar after winning the €28.9 million in July.”

She added: “We hope it is somebody local, and we wish them the best of luck.”

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were 12, 17, 28, 34 and 40.

The numbers for the main EuroMillions draw, which wasn’t won by anyone, were 12, 23, 32, 50, while the lucky stars were 4 and 10.
