Have you already put some money aside for your festival exploits this summer?
Well, it might be an idea – as, according to The Herald, nearly a quarter of Irish adults will spend an average of €316 each at music festivals this summer – without factoring in the price of tickets.
Collectively, results have tallied up that Ireland’s 800,000 festival-goers will spend a total of €253m this summer.
Yikes.
The statistics also showed that festival-goers spend a mere 20% of their money on booze.
A third said the biggest spends were on waterproof tents, other camping gear and food.
Do you reckon you spend as much as €300 on festival delights?
