Flexitime is the considered the biggest job perk by millennials, according to a new study.
Matrix Recruitment 2017 Salary And Benefits Survey found a generational gap in terms of benefits for Irish employees, as older workers prefer health insurance.
Of the 1,500 people surveyed, 34% admitted that they expected to leave their job this year. However 55% said they’d stay if they were given a raise.
While 83% of respondents experienced an increase in cost of living last year, only 36% received a pay increase. 67% expect a rise this year and half of those expect an increase of €2,500 or more.
Of those who did receive a raise last year, one-third received less than €1,000, 19% got a raise between €1,501 and €2,500, while 18% got more than €5,000.
31% of Irish people said they’d take a pay cut if it meant they’d have better opportunities and a stronger career path.
