We are extremely critical and have high standards, especially for our own.

We have a hard time admiring and even just plain liking a famous Irish person, for whatever reason that is.

So, Reddit user LazyassMadman set to do the impossible: find an Irish celebrity that we all like.

The answers came in quickly, with names like Brendan Gleeson and Cillian Murphy coming to the top.

All areas were covered from acting, to sport to music.

While they didn't come to a definitive answer, we have to say that this is our preferred choice.
