It seems like more bad weather is on the way as Met Éireann has this morning issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford, valid form 6pm this evening until 6pm tomorrow.

This is often pre-cursor for weather warnings across the rest of the country so fingers crossed we get off easy. Another forecast states that it will be dull and drizzly in eastern coastal counties but here’s hoping that’s the extent of it.
Dull & drizzly in E coastal counties & E Ulst. Cold elsewhere, w/ some mist & dense fog, which will clear gradually, w/ some hazy sunshine dev. Breezy, wet weather will dev. along the SW&W coasts towards evening. Highs 7 to 9°C generally, but lower where fog is slow to clear. pic.twitter.com/xfA7TGtwGg
