Rory Best has now led Ireland to our first ever victory of New Zealand as well as wins over South Africa and now Australia in the same year.
The win over the Aussies was also the Ulsterman’s 100th cap for his country, a feat which sees him join Brian O’Driscoll, Ronan O’Gara, Paul O’Connell and John Hayes in the exclusive century club.
His whole family turned out and the pride was palpable:

With the 2017 Six Nations just around the corner, the future looks bright for the Boys in Green, something which Best acknowledged in an emotionally-charged post-match interview with RTE:
