Currently raising money for the Irish Cancer Society, Shells Café in Sligo will be donating all proceeds from today’s coffee sales to their fundraising efforts.

Taking to Instagram during the week, owner Jane explained that she’ll be walking 35km a week throughout the month of March. Saying that she would be “super grateful” for any support, people were very keen to help her out with the café’s coffee supplier even donating free coffee to the cause.

“We all know we love coffee…. and just like the love we have for our coffee, we love our coffee rosters @mccabecoffee – an Irish, family owned business – just like us.

“Well Stephen contacted me yesterday to offer us free coffee to support my @irishcancersociety campaign…

“So…..all our proceeds from our coffee sales today will go direct to @irishcancersociety.”

Adding that “it’s never been easier to help a cause”, alls you have to do is tip in and buy a cuppa – they’ll take care of the rest. A great reason to treat yourself to a coffee (and a croissant!) if you’re in the area.
