Bunsen on top 50 best burgers in world

Bunsen has done it again.

Not their first time to be included on such lists, Bunsen is a firm favourite when it comes to finding good burgers in Dublin.

Often named as being some of the country’s finest, they ranked very highly in the ‘Best Burgers In Europe‘ list for 2020 coming in at number seven.

Maintaining its spot largely because locals are “obsessed” with it, Big7 Travel has gone one further now including the Irish restaurant chain on the ’50 Best Burgers In The World 2020’ list.

Coming in at a respectable number 48 on the list, the blurb reads:

“Locals are absolutely obsessed with this chain and it’s not hard to see why. It’s also why they consistently rank near the top when looking at the best burgers in all of Europe.

They do nearly everything in-house, ensuring quality and top-notch flavours. count on homemade buns, freshly ground beef and a remarkably simple menu.”

With only four burger options on the menu (hamburger, double hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger), their offering is small but effective and with six branches in Dublin as well as spots in Cork, Belfast and even Barcelona – there are plenty dotted around the place for you to call in to.

Saying that burgers are “one of the most ubiquitous foods out there”, the coveted top five spots went to burger joints in London, Budapest, Adelaide, Ontario and Auckland.

Burger Geek in Auckland, New Zealand was crowned the winner, with the guys at Big7 claiming that they’re “almost too beautiful to eat”.

Known for their special blend of Wagyu and Angus cuts, their burgers are freshly ground and pack quite the flavour punch.
