A new report released by DAFT.ie today looks at the correlation between urban rail facilities and the cost of accommodation nearby.
Examining nearly 10 years of housing listings, both for sale and to let, and all the rail stations in the Greater Dublin Area, the study found clear evidence from houses near the DART and Luas lines of higher prices.
The study also identified premium prices for homes near Luas stations on the Green Line but with discounted prices closer to Luas stations by the Red Line.
