Airport security is a touchy subject for most people.

The thought of taking your shoes off in front of others while also pouring precious water down the drain is almost too much to bear thinking about.

And despite knowing the airport security rules for a solid decade now – we still get all hot and bothered when it comes to that part of the journey. 

The three most frequently confiscated items at Irish airports have been revealed by Dublin Airport to RTÉ, and those items are:

• Water
• Guinness wholegrain mustard
• and Scissors
