We’re known worldwide for our dairy and beef yeah, but other produce that is being created in the past few years is exciting and healthy and Oh My Lord amaze.

From organic seed sprinkles to artisan snacks, the Irish foodie scene has taken on a new growth with a focus on organic food that is actually good your health.

Here’s the 12 products we’re absolutely loving right now – we can’t get enough of these in our kitchens.

1. Leaves Buckwheat & Chickpea Pasta

This pastas has legit THREE ingredients in it: Buckwheat, Chickpea and Water, so it’s definitely one of the most natural pastas you can buy.

It’s also wheat free so perfect if your gluten intolerant, and there’s a garlic flavour which adds a nice little kick.

2. Cabots of Westport Hummus

Who doesn’t looove hummus? And tbh this one is top of our list.

Made by a family in Mayo, there’s different flavours such as classic and chilli and lime. The same company also does beetroot and sage spread – it’s divine.

This mixed seeds porridge is something a bit different for brekkie, with yummy sunflower seeds, linseed and Irish sugar kelp.

An easy way to get in a dose of one of our best home-grown superfoods.

Everyone loves chocolate, t’is a fact, and this organic powder is delish sprinkled over cereals, smoothies, home baking, hot and cold drinks, or trail bars.

Camelina “wild Flax” oil has been described as one of the world’s healthiest oils and is packed full of essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 9.

6. Sadie’s Kitchen Chicken Bone Broth

Bone broth might sound a tad odd, but it’s actually super comforting – believe us.

This broth has zero salt, sugar, wheat, dairy or gluten and is great as a comforting hot drink, added as stock to meals or used as a cooking liquid for rice, grains and pulses.

Chef Katie Sanderson makes this utterly addictive peanut chilli sauce that once you try you will never be able to live without.

9. Forage and Cure Charcuterie

You don’t usually think of Ireland when you hear the word ‘charcuterie’ but two Dublin butchers came together to create this heavenly range.

Choose from coppa, bresoala, salami, chorizo and proscuitto – all Irish, all fab.

10. Mariko Sparkling Green Tea

Mariko Sparkling Green Tea is the ultimate summer refresher to sip on, and it’s actually good for you cos it has added sweeteners.

Try this as a splash with some elderflower cordial and gin for a really tasty cocktail.

11. Connemara Seaweed Salt

One of the country’s most sustainable foodie companies, these guys make the most amazing seaweed based products.

Their Seaweed Salt Seasoning is a combination of Sweet Kelp, Dillisk and Kombu Kelp, and adds extra flavour to soups, stirfrys or rubbed into chicken (at least that’s what we do with it!)

12. Roaring Water Sea Pudding

Don’t knock this ’til you’ve tried it, this range of vegan “meat” is really tasty and locally made in West Cork.

Ingredients the seaweed pudding and sausages are simple: Buckwheat flour, Irish Atlantic Wakame, Oats, Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, and Tamari.

13. The Chia Collective Chia Clusters

Founded by two friends, the Chia Collective has only just launched and is sure to be a hugely popular brekkie addition here.

There’s organic chia porridge (top tip from the founder: sprinkle desiccated coconut on top), chia cluster and chia muesli which both taste soooo nice either on their own or with a bitta yoghurt.
