6th. Hoxton Grill

The Hoxton Grill is a guilty pleasure for many. Don’t come here and not order the shrimp burger – it’s a game changer. The staff are super-knowledgeable and attentive which is key in a busy place like this. Tables turn quickly but it’s nice to retire to the bar afterwards. It’s a great place to come alone to eat or to catch up with a friend – the dark lighting make it nice and intimate. If you haven’t been yet, go.

The Princess of Shoreditch is the epitome of gourmet pub grub. There’s not one man that would argue that this is one of the best places to eat in Shoreditch, if not the whole of London. The stunning gastro pub offers up some incredible mixed roasts, epic brunches, a great beer selection and service to beat the band. No complaints here. Make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.

Since opening in 2001, Eyre Brothers have made a name for themselves with their exquisite Iberian cuisine. The best way we can describe the overall experience is “top notch”. It’s amazing to see a restaurant still do so well after so many years.

1st. Pizza East

Topping the list is Pizza East… There’s very little these guys do wrong. You’ll find it full of all types – solo diners, dates, groups of friends, workmates, young, old and everyone else in-between. The decor kind of reminds us a bit of ABC Kitchen in New York – an industrial but cosy feel about it. Get in here early as it’s always packed to the rafters and most of the time there’s a wee queue. What will you get here? The tastiest pizza that’ll ever pass you lips with toppings you won’t see everywhere. Go wild.
