Cadbury’s Creme Eggs are one of life’s greatest pleasures, and the popularity of the chocolatey treat was confirmed on Twitter today when Cadbury’s made a mistake regarding the pronunciation of the chocolate.Â
The confusion began when one Twitter user asked Cadbury’s how to correctly pronounce the humble Creme Egg.Â
The twitter user asked whether it was correct to pronounce it as ‘crem’ or ‘cream’.
Shortly after, Cadbury’s replied to the tweet saying: “Pronounced as Crem”.Â
And people did not respond well to the tweet, which has since been deleted.Â
However, for any Creme Egg lovers, who know that it is pronounced ‘cream’, don’t panic.Â
Shortly after deleting the initial tweet, Cadbury’s corrected themselves.Â
They tweeted saying: “Looks like we missed out the ‘a’ there! Most definitely pronounced as ‘Cream’ egg!”
