This Super Stylish Hotel Has Just Been Named The Best New Hotel In Ireland

Sarah

Trying to decide on somewhere sleek and snazzy to stay for a weekend break?

The winner of the prestigious Newcomer of the Year Award from Georgina Campbell’s guides might be right up your street…

Bullit Hotel in Belfast took home the award, impressing with its trendy design and hi-tech features.

Here’s what Georgina Campbell guides said:

“The other side of the coin to The Merchant’s high end style and five star luxury, its younger sister – or should that be brother – hotel is a whole new ball game.

“Themed on the iconic 1968 Steve McQueen film, Bullitt is cool, chilled out and yet nostalgic – this is back to basics with a difference and it has taken Belfast by storm. Every area of the ‘traditional hotel’ concept is reimagined and pared down for maximum comfort, efficiency and fun: forget about baths, wardrobes and minibars, think big beds, flat screen TVs (full Sky package), wifi, a great range of bars, and local, seasonal food and drinks.”

Just one glance at this hotel and you’ll see why it scooped the top spot…

Bullit Hotel is undergoing a £1.75m expansion, and recently unveiled a beautiful rooftop garden, Babel, which has unique features including an interior living wall made up of 300 fresh plants and herbs and a vertical exterior garden wall that can be seen from ground level.

Shaking up Belfast’s cocktail scene and a first for the city, Babel’s drinks menu will be based around ‘Shrub Cocktails’ with the bar’s living walls providing a fresh supply of herbs, to be used as ingredients and garnishes, for the cocktails.

Huge beds, creative cocktails, and a location in one of the buzziest cities in Europe? Count us in.
